Architectural lab is a two-month research project, run by the Vann Molyvann Project. It acts as an opened architecture and research studio, designed to engage with students, architects, researchers and visitors, who visit the exhibition of ‘Folding Concrete’. It researches, archives, and interacts which in and around the context of Cambodian modern architecture, histories of urban transformation, and the technologies of architecture today.

The lab is participated by architecture students and technologist, and opens to the public to see drawings and information panels and observing the processes of architects and architecture students as they collaborate to finalize surveys of buildings and generate a public database of measured drawings and research social histories.

It aims to produce a number of materials including: architectural drawings, photograph, video interviews, and written documents which will be used to create an online story telling, using the existing the Vann Molyvann Project website: www.vannmolyvannproject.org , as the platform which is freely accessible for public.
